NEW THIS YEAR: "DRAG RACING"
No, this is not what you think it is.
Come in "drag" and speed walk (we prefer the term "sachet") to the finish line.
The winner will be crowned "The Wench of KIRBY DERBY 07"

• All participants must wear shoes (on their feet) with a minimum 1.5" heel.
• All participants must wear a skirt or dress of some kind.
• Remember, there will be children watching so be appropriately modest.

This is the second year for the DERBY part of Kirby Derby Day.
The Derby is wild and fun, and can be dangerous, so we request a few things:

KIDS DERBY:
• Everyone in the Derby MUST wear a helmet
• NO bicycles allowed as entries
• All children must have a parent with them, consenting to their entry.
• COMING SOON: There may be other rules as to what types of entries are allowed.

All kids must be completely off the track once the Adult Derby begins,
and cannot follow behind any of the race cars or be a part of the start-up teams
because each race starts quickly after the previous one.
Parents, we ask you to be diligent about this, as the Adult Derby is extremely...unpredictable.

ADULT DERBY:
There is a significant curve, "DEAD MAN'S CURVE"
which you might want to see or test before you enter

• Enter at your own risk
• Helmets MUST be worn
• You must have a DERBY CAR with at least 3 wheels
• No motorized vehicles are allowed
• All entries must have working brakes
• Children cannot be a part of your racing team or pit crew
