TIPS

Rules for the DERBY:
• Adults only for the Derby race.
• All racers must wear a helmet.
• All cars must hae working brakes. If your brakes do not work, you will only be allowed to race the straight-a-way.
• All cars must have at least 3 wheels.
• Derby cars are engine-free

Other tips:

Bring your own cocktails . Mint Julips are quite nice for a Derby event such as this.
Cans or Cups. Glass IS much more sophisticated, but we're not.
Dress up. Hey, everyone else is getting creative.
Park friendly. We really don't want our neighbors to hate us.
Floats. It's a small parade and we need the exercize anyway.
No non-parading dogs. Bridezilla is frightened of them after last year's attack.
Mess-free. Water feels good on a hot day. Ketchup doesn't.
Watch your kids. We can't, especially when it's crowded.
Support the musicians! Please contribute towards their talent and new strings.
Support the organizers by purchasing food and merchandise!
